For alchemists, medical professionals, fauns, and the botanically inclined:

Nearly half a year ago, the expedition northward to establish the Wilder outpost brought back plant specimens that produce an unusual sap, which can draw out and contain slight Cwyld infections if applied immediately. It also proved effective on the invasive algae underground.

I've been experimenting with these plants for some time now. The sap creates a... sort of false magical signature that the Cwyld is drawn to—bait, essentially—but the sap is quickly overwhelmed by stronger traces of Cwyld.

With experimentation, I've found a potential way to refine this sap that should fortify the substance's ability to draw in and entrap infection; from there, it could be processed into a medicine. Unfortunately, supply is an issue. One of the ingredients is rather rare and I'm still researching the best way to source it. The other is the plants themselves.

With aid, we've cultivated more of them, but it is a limited operation; this process requires a far greater quantity of sap to work with. I'd like to request help from experienced botanists, gardeners, fauns, or any other interested party in cultivating far more of these plants, and if possible, selecting for the pitcher plants with sap that displays the strongest resilience to Cwyld. From what I've gathered, it should be possible to breed this trait to greater potency.

I can share my formulas with interested alchemists, and keep you informed when production becomes available. If this project comes to fruition, I'll certainly require the hands.

I've seen quite a few of the new visitors and seen there are quite a few among you that adept and strong. As well as folks who've been here some time already who could use something besides Shades to fight.

I propose, before all of this gets corrected, we have ourselves a bit of a bedlam, to enjoy ourselves as warriors and treat ourselves to some friendly fights and whiskey to share.

I don't doubt there's a lot of you that have had the same itch I've had. Particularly with the last moon phase being as it was.

So I don't know if I'm doing this right but I have a couple of requests. First is I'm looking for someone who can make me something. It needs some engineering and metal working, maybe some other stuff too I'm not really sure, I'd really like to talk to a professional if we have one or someone can point me in the right direction.

Second, I think I'm going to explode this month. I think. Not too sure. I'm an unbonded witch so I'm also looking for a bond partner, but I have a condition that isn't difficult. Preferably with a monster. The bond has to be strictly for survival purposes since I would rather not run risk the chances of sharing my memories. I know that might sound silly or out right ridiculous but, I have my reasons.

Does anyone know anything about bunnies? Like about their health. I’m worried about Suibian.

[suibian would be the "chubby" one. wei wuxian frowns as he rubs one finger between the bunny’s ears, which earns a furious grooming from the other one after he's done.]

He’s gained a lot of weight since Lan Zhan and I brought him home, and he’s been really tired lately. And on top of everything, now he has tiny bunnies coming out of him-

[wait. he lifts his head suddenly, and though it’s not apparent to the camera, that’s exactly what's happening. ]

Aa- Why are there tiny bunnies coming out of him! Lan Zhan, what’s happening!

( lan wangji is used to this, wei wuxian’s odd theatrics. it’s the main reason why he remains mostly undisturbed in the background, perusing the pages of an old manuscript. he doesn’t move, barely blinks. it’s the change in his bonded’s tone that alerts him, not quite hysterical but kind of, and he lifts his head and his lips part in mild surprise, a very faint, lopsided curl. )

Suibian is in labor. ( and his face brightens, book closing in a dusty thud. )

Labor? [ the word is repeated, its meaning dawning on him a moment later with wide eyes. wei wuxian jumps up, apparently forgetting that he’d been in the middle of asking the whole of aefenglom for help. ] But how? Lan Zhan! Do you think that could happen to me??

[he’s a puca, after all.]

( please someone tell him how babies are made, just to be on the safe side. you never know with him, and lan wangji closes the distance between them, slightly leaning against him as though wei wuxian’s space was made for him. he silently counts the tiny creatures (ten), and then he tilts his head, peers at his bonded, unshakable patience in his tone. ) Wei Ying. ( suibian isn’t a boy, and the feed cuts as lan wangji readies himself to tell the story of the birds and the bees, probably. )

Anyone on this thing know of an acceptable place to get a change of clothes? And before you offer up sub-par recommendations, I mean, quality clothes. Nothing off brand. And nothing that screams small town American Wal-Mart if you even understand what that means.

( Outlets... he won't be a chooser, as he is a beggar. And outlets at least have brands. Months after a line comes out. But, again. Beggars.

This place has the buildings going for it, why not actual style that matches. A nice suit. Silk shirt. Something? )

Umm. Hi! I’m Sora. I’m a puca in case you were wondering what’s up with the big giant ears.

[The stream shows a brunette boy with long matching brown-coloured rabbit ears. He’s smiling but there’s some obvious worry in the tilt of his head. Furthermore, Sora’s eyes seem to be a sharp and glowing gold. Weren’t they a nice ocean blue before?]

I was wondering if anyone had any sort of spell or charm or potion that can change my eye colour? Hmm, I don’t mean anything that will wear off overnight or something?

[Sora’s not really comfortable with the idea of having naturally yellow or gold eyes. There’s a little bit of trauma backstory attached to that. Yikes.]

I think I need something a little more permanent. Is there anything that can change my eyes back to blue? Anything at all? Please?

[Is there even anything that can change or mask something like this? Is there any way for Sora to reverse just this one monster trait? He’s fine with rabbit ears! And a vegetarian diet (goodbye bacon…)! And even getting itchy fur and a cottontail! But gold eyes? Say it ain’t so!

Can you see me? Hear me too? Alright! I haven't been here for that long, but already people have shared so many things about where they're from. Since we're all friends here, I thought it was time that I did the same.

So I made my best soup to share!

[as if on cue, the deep red liquid bubbles up and breaks. those with sharp hearing might swear that the soup screams.]

Mine won't be as good as Shijie's, but it's my own recipe. Lan Zhan went to the trouble of finding all the ingredients for it. He even found a new pepper to add to the others, so it's extra flavorful! This big bowl is for Lan Zhan [r.i.p.], but there's still plenty to share if you want a taste.

Don't be shy! If we haven't met, I'm Wei Wuxian. And I humbly ask forgiveness of all the mothers if my soup is better than theirs. I can't be blamed for a good cook.

[Once again it's Prompto, coming to you live from his watch! Only this time he's not in the kitchen surrounded by loud people, but in the stable! With a chocobo. Who is trying to groom him. Still better than the last video he sent out.]

So, the full moon's pretty early this month and last month I saw a lot of people asking for help with the whole "turnskin" thing. I can only help if you're, y'know, a dog, but I saw like three last month so...anyway, some quick pointers-slash-tips for suddenly finding yourself with a tail and a chocolate allergy.

[He misses chocolate.]

Which that's the first thing--it's not always the case, but like. Don't go nuts on the chocolate or the coffee or the onions or whatever until you know it won't make you sick? Maybe nothing'll change and you can eat everything you want! But don't risk it. Start small. Get meds from a pharmacist just in case.

[The chocobo "kwehs", like she's agreeing. Prompto reaches up to pet her beak.]

Also tails? They suck? But there's plenty of places that make pants for people with tails so love yourself, get pants with tail-slots or get used to skirts. Don't be me and be wearing regular pants when your tail comes in. It sucks, and then you can't sit down the entire day. What else...get used to shedding, your tail will out you so just accept never being able to hide your emotions ever, you'll get used to the smells and the sounds but maybe get a face mask and earplugs until then, there can be some weird changes you never think about until they happen trust me I've been there, congratulations on your silver allergy...oh! And packs!

Surprise! All of us turnskins are turning into pack people. Even the bears. Even if you don't like people normally, you're gonna be way happier with a person or two. You know how cats sometimes just have their human? Get a human. Or a vampire. Or a dragon. Or--you get it. This isn't just the bond stuff, this is "I feel like crap, why do I feel like crap, oh I spent an hour out shopping now I feel better" stuff. Get a pack. Love your pack. Just don't do the cat thing and bring live mice to your pack unless they like that sorta thing. Heck, there's enough of us canine turnskins that we could probably be pack, if people want that.

[And he's rambling! And he's starting to think this was a bad idea so he's gonna wrap this up now.]

Hey, so, I'm one of the newcomers that showed up at the start of the month - nice to meet you all. [He waves one red-nailed hand before resting it over his left, slightly concealing the black ring on it.] I was asking the lady who explains what's going on to everyone whether she knew anything about what people being here means for where we came from, and she told me she'd heard some stories about Mirrorbound who saw stuff going on in their worlds through their mirrors. So if that's happened to any of you guys, could you let me know a little more about it? At this point I'm kinda crossing my fingers people aren't freaking out about me being gone back home. Or hey, if you showed up at an awkward time and want to commiserate about it, I'm here for you.

[The "freaking out" is honestly an understatement, considering the depths his partner has dropped to after losing people in the past. But to offset the more serious question, he reaches a hand offscreen and holds up...well, it's the right shape and size to be a soccer ball, even if it hasn't quite reached the modern style of them yet.]

And for anyone old or new - I'm looking for some people to play soccer with. If you don't know it, it's a sport where you split into teams and try to kick a ball into goal defended by the other team. Obviously it's more fun with more people, but if anyone wants to learn to play or just get a bit of a workout, we can go one-on-one.
