I need things someone who can't taste much anymore will want to eat because otherwise he barely does I think things with a stronger smell to them might help.

and yeah stronger scents are probably the way to go
could test if itd work with something real pungent like some kinda cheeses
like theyre good but the flavors like a punch in the jaw
and if that helps you can work on it from there. maybe spicy food? its got more going on that just flavor.

Floral is a good thought we can try floral. Have been sticking to soft textures but you think something with a more interesting one might be appealing outside of taste
