[Early one fine afternoon in Maiuril, this crime appears on the network. Or perhaps it counts for two crimes, depending how you feel about the extremely 2001 username.]

I'm sure that's not the first time that's happened to her, too.

That's the thing about teaching magic to those of us who never had it before this place...stuff happens.

Teachers in my classes were pretty patient. When are you going to class?

You guess? You should go regularly.

You'll better control it, then.

If you don't have a bond, you need a way to channel your magic in order to not -- well, set teachers on fire, I guess.

One of the ways to do that is through consistent practice and use. Classes are the best way to go unless you're actually good at it.

It's a logical series of practice and learning. You're going to have to understand how it works before you can practice it properly.

If you practice it incorrectly, you'll just keep doing it wrong. Practice makes permanent.

Be prepared to accidentally set many more things on fire, then.
