[ VOICE ] - dated before the first ship to Dorchacht
My name is Lux, and I have a favor to ask of a few of you.
A number of us will be traveling to Dorchacht to... smooth over some rough patches in our relationship with them. Say what you will about how they treat others—I have my own opinions, and that isn't necessarily something I wish to speak about here. That isn't the point of this. Talks are bound to be tense, and many of us will be going in blind.
I am looking for a few monsters to align with, who won't shy away from gathering information, by any means necessary. In exchange for this, I offer a temporary Bond, during our time there; and protection if things don't turn out as expected. I will do what I can to keep you safe while in Dorchacht.
I am also looking for a few Witches willing to come together to push for equal treatment of Monsters within Dorchacht. Neither city can afford a war; and while I have experience with this sort of situation, there is strength in numbers. We have the resources—and it only makes sense to gather as many in one place before attacking this problem.
This is asking a lot, I know, but I want to be prepared for anything. I doubt I am the only one. I will be leaving in a few days. I would prefer to have these discussions before then, either in person, or here. Thank you.

Dorchacht is the one with the most to lose here. They're currently fighting a battle on two fronts right now, and splitting their attention even further might tip the scales completely. I hope that Miss Morgana and her Coven understand that, but I think it's wise that we remind them of this fact. [ She smiles meekly. ] It's a bit underhanded, and may only be a temporary fix, but it may be all we have to work with. We won't know until we set foot in their city, and see what it's really like.
[ His observation about her doesn't come as a shock, but it still manages to pull a more quietly amused smirk out of her. Clearly this isn't the first time she's heard this. ]
I believe that there is always light somewhere, even in the darkest of places. If that makes me idealistic, then I suppose I am.

It's a good thing to believe in. People like you are needed— bringing hope to the hearts that falter. Where is torch carried there will be also shadows, you know better than to fear them, no?
[ This plan, it is easy to doubt if it could work. Many things to argue. Dorchacht has a lot to lose, but it's all long-term, short-term it's Aefenglom that's more in danger. But what is more important about the plan that she raises the hope in the hearts of people of Aefenglom. As long as no one is stupid about it. ]
It all might end as birds posturing, hiding the truth behind rich plumage— both cities trying to get a better read on the other. We will be in their turf, and that means we will have an easier time verifying every claim they make. They probably have spies around our city [ Our, huh ] but that kind of knowledge is always delayed.

I expect a lot of that during our initial meeting. Neither city will want to let their flaws or weaknessss come to light at a time like this.
[ She glides past his spy comment. Don't think that she hasn't considered it. Why else would she be somewhat guarded on the network? ]
I don't believe that we have anything to hide from the people of Dorchacht. Not worried about that.

Tell me lady Lux— [ He can tell the difference ] For this trave what is the priority guiding your actions? Your heart's true concern. Is it the fate of the Aefenglom, or that of Mirrorbounds that is closest to your heart? Or is it the freedom of Dorchacht people?
