my name is makoto yuuki, im one of the new arrivals. hello to those ive met, and... hello to everyone i havent met too i guess.

im looking for the following people, who may or may not have arrived here with me. pls let me know if you know any of them:

to the people we're looking for - if youre reading this, the rest of us have moved into a 2-story house w/in the Haven. pls come over ASAP so we know you're okay. aigis, pls dont knock any buildings down on your way over here, lol.

aside from that, ive got a few questions:
1. is it safe for a bunch of monsters to live together without any witches?
2. cheapest places in town to eat
3. best way for a monster to find a job or part-time work
4. where can i get a spare charger for an MP3 player
5. where to find house furnishings if your house in the Haven is missing some? r we expected to buy them ourselves?
6. how should monsters find a witch (and vice-versa) to bond with? how long is it safe to go without one?

it's a little device like the pocketwatches except it can play music. MP3s are individual songs stored on the player

we wouldnt call it magic, but i guess some people would still see it that way if they didnt know how it works. it uses electricity for power and the songs are stored in, like... a rly complicated, rly tiny switch system? i think thats how computers work 🤷‍♂️

But it seems you utilize both magic and technology in your world - the latter to a far greater extent than my own. Which would you say is superior, then, in terms of what it's capable of achieving: Magic, or technology?

umm... hard to say. probably magic but most people can't use it as far as i know. im not an expert in it myself either.

altho now that im thinking about it, our technology can be too strong in some ways. like, countries have weapons where if everyone fired them all at once, the whole world would end. idk if magic can do that but probably someone, somewhere, maybe...?

Intentionally destroying the whole world hadn't been on my contemplated list of possibilities as of late. Obliterating nations through the use of magic certainly is though, yes.

So, like you've acknowledged: whether a magical or technological weapon, it seems dependent on the quantity used.

yeah, i guess so. and tech is always getting better so who knows what else could be possible in the future. its scary if u think about it

but here we are in witches and monsters world, so maybe a bright side is not having to think about that for now
