It was strange at first, because the concept of monsters here is very different from the one I'm used to back home. However, I don't think the term itself is what's really important.

I consider it important if it makes anyone uncomfortable.

Mm, you're right. Even if it doesn't change how it makes me feel about people, there are a lot of individuals who struggle with the term and the changes that go with it. I wish there was more I could do for people than just try to support them.

But often it's something they have to face themselves. The last time I tried... I think I just gave him more to worry about.

I've found just being there for the person can mean more than we might realize at the time.
